The Compliance Practice provides clients with up-to-date notification and assistance for federal and state laws affecting benefit plans. A library of required model forms, white papers, and instructions has been created to provide Protector Group Insurance clients with the tools needed to maintain compliance with the Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service, Centers for Medicare/Medicaid, and individual state and local agencies.

The Practice can be broken into three specific areas: Guidance, Research, and Resources.

    The Director of Compliance is available to walk clients through the proper steps and provide assistance surrounding the potential liabilities associated with the options available.
  • Research
    The team is continuously monitoring a multitude of outlets to remain ahead of the latest changes to federal and state regulations. Upcoming changes, passed legislation, and final regulations are addressed through White Papers, Email Blasts, and Legislative Updates.
  • Resources
    A myriad of user-friendly documents and services are provided to assist HR professionals in meeting the ongoing administrative, reporting, and disclosure requirements required by government agencies.
